Doritos Silent is a free noise-cancelling app for gamers that finds and removes the sound of chip crunching before it reaches the stream, while leaving the player’s voice intact.
I trained the model on more than 5,000 Doritos crunch variations over six months, then built the pipeline that separates voice from crunch in real time. It works on anything that accepts a microphone, and the PC app shows each crunch as a waveform so you can watch it being removed.
The launch was covered by The Washington Post, IGN and Food Network.
