A Meta Quest Day add-on device lighting up with Beat Saber

For Meta’s Quest Day campaign, Deep Local asked us to build add-on devices for the Quest 2 headset that gave real-time feedback between the device, the real world and the player in VR. They had to look like production devices, and they had to actually work.

We took the ideas from concept through design revisions and into production in eight weeks, doing the circuit board design and production, 3D design and printing, and full-stack software in-house.

The devices were a hit on set, and the campaign won awards and sold out almost instantly.
