Color Cathedral at Seismique Houston

Seismique is a technology-fueled art experience in Houston, Texas. We oversaw technical direction for the whole 40,000 square foot space and led the design of several exhibits.

Color Cathedral is a mirrored room of touch-reactive colored spheres that extends as far as the eye can see. Vertex/Vortex is a walk-through helix of LED panels with hundreds of thousands of LEDs. Mission Control is a multiplayer wall of light and sound built from hidden speakers, capacitive touch sensors and thousands of LEDs.

Face-Off uses computer vision and an array of infinity mirrors so that up to eight people can control lights and music with their faces at once.
