MOMA LED Jacket

Smooth Technology worked with Asher Levine to create a fully animated LED motorcycle jacket for a MoMA Exhibit called “Items: Is Fashion Modern?”

The jacket consists of over 12,000 individual addressable LEDs and is fully video mapped to the body. It pushes the limits of its embedded system by running entirely headlessly with all animations and mapping information stored on an ARM processor.
