Katy perry - Witness World Tour

Smooth Technology worked with Johnny Wujek to create Katy Perry’s Video Bra used on the Witness World Tour in 2017 - 2018. The bra was a custom Flexible 64x32 WS2812 LED Matrix controlled with custom made firmware and wireless communications that essentially acted as an on board media server. The media was saved and loaded on board the bra using an SD Card. The lighting board controlled file access, zoom, effects, color shifts, and timing to keep the shows consistent and perfectly matching the rest of the lighting for the show.

We were told by the touring light director that this was the most reliable system they had on tour. We provided 2 backups, and only ever needed to repair one LED during the year long tour.
